Stages of Building a House

Many customers ask us about the process for creating their dream home, as it can all seem a bit of a mystery. Next Generation are different to other construction companies. We like to provide our customers with open and upfront communication right from our first contact. We will guide you through every aspect of the build process. But so that you can be a prepared, here is our step by step build process.

  • 1 Discussion

    We will visit you in your current home and show you our portfolio so that you can see some of the high-end building projects that we have worked on. We will listen to your ideas, discuss your likes and dislikes and your dream design features before giving you a free quote.

  • 2 Design

    Using the latest technology, we will create a mock-up of your dream home. We work with the very best designers who will turn your ideas into a visual representation so that you can see what your new home will look like, and more importantly, you will be able to imagine the spaces with our clearly labelled floor plans.

  • 3 Confirmation

    Once you are happy with your design, you can sign it off to us, and we will get started on your high-end, self-build house.

  • 4 Building process

    We will begin with digging the foundations for your home before moving on to the substructure, flooring, and then the main build.

    Once the superstructure is in place, we will complete the roof. When it comes to completing the internal works, we will finish your home to the highest specification.

  • We offer intelligent lighting systems, media systems and you can also opt for environmentally friendly and energy efficient air source heat pumps. Our innovative heat pumps, recommended by the Energy Saving Trust, take air from outside and convert it into warm air to heat your home.

    The total build process will take around six to nine months, depending on the size of your new property.

  • 5 Building Regulations

    You can relax knowing that your premium home meets all current building regulations, as we are able to have your building inspected and certificate issued on your behalf.

  • 6 Move Into Your Home

    Once everything is completed, your home will be ready for you to move in and create many happy memories that will last a lifetime.
